Volunteer Appreciation Week
Volunteer
Appreciation Week—the third week in April—is set aside especially for
you. Girl Scouts pay tribute to the volunteers who help girls make the
world a better place. The week centers on the long-standing National
Girl Scout Leaders’ Day (April 22), but expands the definition of
volunteers beyond troop leaders, to include all the volunteers who work
in so many ways on behalf of girls in Girl Scouting.
{I would personally like to thank Ginger K., Jessica S. and Melissa K. for volunteering to be a special part of our Troop and for helping me make the meetings more fun for the girls and for making things run smoother! Also, thank you to all the parents for letting their girls join Girl Scouts. It's a great organization! Thank you for bringing snack/drink, helping your Daisy with extracurricular activities and just being involved. I am honored to be your Troop leader!}
