Respect Myself and Others

We started off the meeting by having the girls who went on the Food Pantry tour sign a Thank You card that I can drop off.  {writing a thank you card shows respect}

We also did this service project sponsored by the American Red Cross.  Each girl signed their first name's only to 20 Christmas cards.

Holiday Mail for Heroes

We started working on the purple petal today.  We learned about what we can do to respect others.  I made this board on the other side of our kaper chart, so, it'll be handy in case we need to use these words someday.  Each girl got a heart and wrote one word on there how we can be respectful.  Then, we gathered in a circle and talked about each word.

Some of the actions we can take to show respect...love, forgive,volunteer, care and honor.  We came up with 23 words.
