Juliette Low Halloween Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Juliette Gordon Low's birthday.  Since her birthday is October 31st, we decided to make it a Halloween party too.  For their snack, they had 2 cupcakes, juice or water.  They each received one candle and we sang Happy Birthday to Juliette and then they blew out the candle.  We had Halloween music playing in the background the whole meeting.  They really liked it!

Each girl also received a little cake slice {treat box} that included a fun patch and a few Halloween trinkets.

I also passed around a bowl of Halloween candy (peanut free) and they went nuts to say the least.  Hope they weren't too full of sugar when they got home!
Since it was Juliette's birthday, they made a Juliette Low paper bag puppet.  Some didn't get to finish coloring her, so, I hope they were able to finish at home.  While they colored, I read some facts about Juliette Low.
Then, they were divided into 2 groups.  Our first game was Freeze Dance.  They each received a mask which they were able to keep.  These girls have some great dance moves!  Plus, they need to burn off some of their energy.

The second game was Pumpkin Bowling.  They had to knock down the ghosts.

 Patiently waiting their turn.
